Barakah Dates Project

In the name of Allah, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

A friend of mine Lazeena Umm Yusuf saw the video below and after contacting the brother and the masjid he attends she and her husband decided to ship dates to that masjid for Ramadan.  Dates are expensive and most of these masajid cannot afford to buy any let alone import them.  So with your help and the help of fellow Muslims inshaAllah some of these Latino Muslims will be tasting their first date EVER! mashaAllah.  For more information her blog dedicated to Barakah Dates is here and you can also check her out on FB.





Barakah Dates Project is a non-profit organization collecting donations to purchase and ship dates to South American and Caribbean countries for Ramadan 2010!
